· Linear sequence of posts… Can’t be grouped around a topic like in a discussion board
· Time consuming to read and respond
· Mainly opinion based postings… difficult to assess quality of what is posted
· Educational organization may be hesitant to use this informal method of learning
· Avoid sharing personal information…Maintain HIPAA regulations about sharing patient information
